Travel

The easiest way to access Barcelona from abroad is by plane. The Barcelona’s airport (El Prat Josep Tarradellas) has two terminals frequently connected by a free shuttle bus (the ride takes 5 minutes). Most low cost airlines companies use Terminal 2, while major airlines land in Terminal 1. Metro station is located in Terminal 1, from which you can easily connect to the city by 5.15€. Alternatively you can use buses or taxis to reach the city (15 km away from downtown in 20-40 minutes). A taxi ride to downtown should amount 30-40€. Minimum ride is 20€.

Once in Barcelona, you can easily move by metro, bus or tram. You can buy a T-casual card which amounts 11.35€, and allow you up to 10 trips, and free connection between metro, tram and bus, during 75  min). It is not valid to reach the airport. This card can be bought at metro and tram station (most credit and debit cards are accepted). You can get information in Metropolitan Transports of Barcelona, TMB. Tickets and fares are here

Conventional taxis can be easily found and identified (black and yellow). As well UBER and Cabify operates in the city (and can be used to reach the airport).

Remember that the EEBE campus is located very close to “El Maresme-Forum” metro station.
